Aurora

Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian Singer and Songwriter. Her birthplace was in Stavanger on June 15th, 1996 and professionally known as Aurora. The name of her can be also stylized as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released through the label Decca Records in May 2015 receiving great approval by music journalists and press. Half the World Away - by the Oasis - for John Lewis' Christmas ad as well as Nature Boy - by Nat King Cole - are already two covers worth noting that she has recorded. Her name was also recognized via a blog post from Katy Perry where Perry endorsed her track Runaway. Celebrate her special birthday. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music was discovering a grand piano that was in the attic. It was awe-inspiring to see its capabilities. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes advised her to use music for personal growth, rather than as a way of earning a living or an interest. She began to write her own compositions. She has cited renowned songwriters Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan as influences as well as an appreciation for the style of Bjork. The singer decided to perform her music in public when her mom suggested they can help other people, not be famous with her work but to make people see around them realize the importance of their work and how they impact the world. She began playing the piano at the age of six, and began writing music at age nine. They didn't even have any idea until she was fourteen. Aurora did not have a set goal. The only thing she loves is to write music. Music to her is the best method to experience anything.
